Okay - here is the LAST baby gift for the Shulman girls! Carla had baby number 3 on November 3 and here are the birth announcements and Baby's First Year keepsake book:

supplies: cardstock, stamps, brads & ribbon is SU!; BINGO card is Jenni Bowlin; calendar is homemade on the computer as is the back creation.

now the keepsake book -

supplies: cardstock is Bazzill & SU!; loads of junk from Tim Holtz, Autum Leaves, Making Memories and Jenni Bowlin.
Once I have more time I will give a better run down on how it all came together (not to mention fix the layout)!
note: sorry for the screwy layout - I have tried so many times now to fix it and it comes out worse everytime not to mention that I lose some of the photo's and what I had just typed!

Recipe Binders....

Wow - what a whirl wind this fall as been. I can actually say I can't wait for this year to be over! 2009 has to be a better year! On a good note - I have be creating like crazy and have gotten a lot done as far so here goes..you might want to grad a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy!

A few weeks ago Doreen and I sat down on our usual 'creative thursday' and instead of scrapbooking pages - decided to make a book. I go this idea from two places - one, a Starbucks travel mug and the other a variation of a book my girlfriend Lynn made. I created this Recipe Binder for all my Epicure recipe sheets and have since made two more binders and a note book. check them out!

Recipe Binder #1:

supplies: all printed papers Creative Cafe Camden; solid cardstock & ribbon SU!; rubons MM & basic grey; tab punch SU!; page protectors from Staples & binder from Costco.

Recipe Binder #2:

supplies: patterned papers are all Cosmo Cricket Wanted; solid card stocks are Bazzill & SU!; ribbons are from my stash. I also used some magic mesh and some eyelets from my crop-a-dile case. The charms are some old ATB (sorry, no longer able to get). Font was off the computer (will update once I get it off my laptop)

Recipe Binder #3 (this one I will be teaching as a class at the lss):
supplies: Prima Cavalier Collection Paper Pack; cardstock is Scrapbook Sally; pen used for chalkboard look is a white Marvey Opaque Stix; Heidi Swapp Chandeliers; fiskars border punch; office supplies same as above and the curly q is from my Cricut cartridge Accent Essentials.

Recipe Binder #3 Add on - Kitchen Journal!

Thought this would a cool idea to make notes as I cook in the kitchen - especially when I modify or make up a recipe! Hard to see in my photo, but I used a stripe of the ribbon and made it into a page marker (inverted) so the dangly hangs from the top vs our of the bottom! This is simply a composition journal from the dollor store!

supplies: more from Prima Kit (and I still have stuff left)!

Welcome...Kethan!

Here is the gift I made for Christa & Lee - welcoming baby number three! I created the usal birth announcement and then did yet another twist on my Baby's First Year Calendar.

This time around a modifed a cool file folder system and made it into a little keepsake folio for Kethan's first year. I really love how this turned out and I will give huge thanks to Doreen for the additional inspiration when I needed it!

All the paper is SU! from one of their Designer Paper Series. I added misc papers and embellishments from my stash to make it even moe special. I am trying desperately not to go out and buy anthing new - but use up my vast (and I do mean vast) collection of papers and goodies!

There are several pockets throught to add memorbilia to as well.

This is the above picture's pocket opened up!

There are two pages of baseball size card 'remember when' card to record all Kethan's milestones over his first year!

Large Heidi Swapp face plate altered to fit into this book.

blank pages for his sibling so draw pictures for him and more of the remember when cards!

final page has a pocket for stuff as well as a place to record all his 'firsts.'

I have already started on Carla & Jamie's as I only have a week to go..yikes! I think I may have even out done myself yet again on this creation....but you will have to wait to see!

"Junked Up Jenni"

Here is a mini book I created for an upcoming class at the LSS (I know, pick your chins up off the floor). All the product is Jenni Bowlin Studios - which is one of my newer favorite companies. You will remember her from before as I did a mini album a while back for my Mom out if it. This line is the vintage black. I had a lot of fun making it. I 'junked it up' pretty good but did leave room for more! I filled it full of photos from a family gathering. I have been pretty busy 'creating' lately and once I get on the ball, I will add the rest of the photo's of stuff I have done! So for now, this is simply a teaser..but enjoy!

All the products used here are available through me - if you have any questions, please drop me a line!

If must be fall....

One would think I would be out taking pictures...but NO! I have been scrapping! I have been trying to get together with friends and have a weekly scrap fest - sometimes I am creative and other times...not so much - but hey, they are getting done! Check them out!

Kind of hard to see here - but this is 'The Storm' that started off 2007. Crazy winds snowed us ALL in - Bob had to shovel out the door just to get the snowblower so he could clear the driveway so we could actually drive!

supplies: all SU!

More of the storm - the winds were crazy - and Drake was playing outside - the main picture is of Drake being blown by the wind!

supples: all SU!

Drake's 11th Birthday! Check out the 'one one' that was done with the Cricut - yikes - I am hooked!

supplies: KMA printed papers; cardstock is SU!; journaling box is MME

Oops, just noticed I missed a couple layouts between these two - oh well - later...
This is an annual photo I take of the boys - it is great to have cousins this close in age?!?!

supplies: main background pp is BoBunny; smaller pp is Basic Grey; embellishments are Jenni Bowlin Bingo card, BG stamp, clip art ticket (got online years ago) & brads are Kaiser Craft.

supplies: pp are SU! and Basic Grey; die cut is Autumn Leaves.

These were a couple really fun pages to work on. This was the day I dreaded the most - "Mom, I want it cut - all of it - OFF" We made it fun and he humored me as it was buzzed off. That was about a years worth of growth...
